Lisa is an artist and illustrator based in Boulder, Colorado. She enjoys painting in a variety of media drawing inspiration from nature and her travels. As an avid gardener, it is no surprise that flowers often take center stage in much of Lisa's work. Of course, the random insect works its way into her pieces from time to time! Though Lisa calls Colorado her home, she spent several years living in South America and in Europe. During her many years in Germany, Lisa developed a passion for travel in Europe and parts of Asia. She says: "I find it fascinating to observe the differences in architecture, color, and ornamentation. I also have a lot of fun with different languages (Spanish, Italian, German, and English). I now know just enough of each of them to get myself into some trouble!" When she is not elbow deep in paints or in garden dirt, you can find Lisa mountain biking, backpacking, snowboarding, or cross-country skiing. Being outside is essential to her wellbeing and continuously fuels her inspiration.
