Steph Calvert is a friendly one-eyed illustrator with a boisterous laugh and over 20 years of experience working as a professional artist and designer. She lives just south of Atlanta, Georgia with her husband Josh, their two ridiculously funny kids, and a pile of happy rescue animals. Steph's art is infused with optimism, bright colors, hand-lettering, and cute expressive characters. Her digital painting rocks a bit of a retro gouache vibe and the sense of humor that reflects watching Airplane, Spaceballs, and The Blues Brothers five thousand times each. Steph Calvert earned her BFA in Computer Art from Savannah College of Art and Design in 1999, and spent ten years of her career in the art departments of apparel and home decor companies including OshKosh B’Gosh, Mighty Fine Tees, and Intercontinental Art, Inc. Her clients include Trader Joe’s, The National Association of Realtors, Toland Home and Garden, and Children's Hospital of Orange County.
